screenshot-13I’m not sure why but looking for a photo gallery that works right for WordPress has always been a challenge. Of the gallery plugins I’ve previously used, the NextGen photo gallery is typically the one I would recommend however it takes a bit of learning and getting used to since it’s interface is a bit complicated. On a recent project I decided to try something and new and searched for a plugin that looked aesthetically pleasing and was easy to install & use.

The Gallery Bank WordPress plugin turned out to be exactly what I needed. I love this plugin! I was able to install and figure out the interface in  just minutes. Once you’ve created a photo gallery using this plugin you can simply insert it into your page using the WYSIWYG editor.

Benefits of this plugin include:

  • Easy to Install & Use
  • Multi-lingual
  • Aesthetically pleasing
  • Responsive
  • Short code Wizard in your Page/Post.
• Has social sharing options
  • Allows you to choose from different layouts
  • Ability to view images as a slideshow
  • Display images as a list, masonry or grid

If you visit the Gallery Bank plugin page at you’ll be able to see different examples of how versatile it works. If you would like more information or to download this plugin visit the following link:

The freemium version of the Gallery Bank plugin was all I needed for the site I was working on however there is a Pro version you can purchase starting from 17 pounds per month.
